If you're considering a destination wedding and being barefoot on a beautiful beach in paradise, St. John is the perfect location to say "I DO!"

St. John's beaches are among the most beautiful beaches in the world and one of the easiest destination locations to get married.

US Citizens do NOT need a passport to come to St. John, there isn't a residency, time constrains, or blood testing requirements for a marriage license.

Two-thirds of St. John is U. S. National Park, 200 acres of land and 5,600 acres of protected reefs and ocean; undeveloped, pristine and an exquisite backdrop for your wedding photographs.

The best thing about getting married on St. John is that it not only provides fantastic locations for your ceremony, but also provides a great honeymoon spot, all in one location.

Once your married and celebrating your honeymoon, St. John has many activities and things to do: island hopping, sailing, hiking, kayaking, Sugar Mill Ruins, horseback riding, snorkeling, and the prettiest beaches to just relax on.

What will you write in the sand at your wedding?

Please email me if you need more information about getting married on St. John in the US Virgin Islands.

Janelle and Norm are wonderfully spontaneous people, which is why they booked me on Monday to photograph their wedding Friday evening. They had just booked a trip to the US Virgin Islands and where making plans to run away to St. John and elope on the beach. They had made a couple of new friends at the resort and invited them to come as witnesses as they exchanged their wedding vows standing barefoot on Trunk Bay Beach.

At one point, while photographing just the two of them, I overheard Janelle whispering in Norms ear asking him if he wanted to jump into the ocean with her? Talk about living in the moment, I love it!!! Within a few moments, Janelle had decided that she wanted to trash the wedding dress and go for a swim to cool down. I had so much fun photographing this couple, and love how their wedding pictures turned out.

Archie and Donna eloped on beautiful Trunk Bay Beach, exchanging their vows barefoot with Anne Marie Porter. This was such a fantastic wedding to be apart of, Donna's laughter was wonderfully contagious and Archie couldn't take his eyes off of his beautiful bride. I hope I've done them justice by trying to capture how truly and completely in love they are with one anther.

Congratulations Archie and Donna!

There is nothing more romantic then being announced as husband and wife while watching the sun set, standing on St. John's beautiful Trunk Bay Beach. Here are a few of my favorite photographs of newly weds kissing as the sunsets behind them at their St. John destination wedding.

Please note that not all of these sunset wedding photographs are made at Trunk Bay Beach.
